We are excited to host a Career Day Assembly for our students on Thursday, May 14, and we would love your help!

We are seeking volunteers to share their career, trade, or military experience with our students. This is a wonderful opportunity to inspire and motivate students as they begin thinking about their future paths.

Presentations will be brief—approximately 10 minutes, followed by a short Q&A session with students. Our goal is to make this a fun, engaging, and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Lago Vista ISD has cancelled all classes and activities for Monday, January 26, 2026. All district facilities will be closed. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.

At this time, we expect to resume normal school operations on Tuesday; however, we will continue to monitor road conditions and provide updates through our usual communication channels.

Our school is so excited to be hosting the Apex Fun Run as our major fundraiser this semester! Apex is a two-week leadership and character program for students, that culminates in a fitness fundraiser. Each student will receive daily character lessons and awards as they learn what it takes to be a true leader. Over the two weeks they will reach out to friends and family around the world to sponsor them in the Fun Run by getting pledges for each lap they run around the Apex Raceway during the Fun Run (22-42 laps, with 42 being the MAXIMUM number of recorded laps). Any student unable to run in the Fun Run for any reason will have 42 laps recorded so that donors’ pledges will not be lost for that student. Would you please consider donating $1, $3, $5 per lap or any other amount to help us reach our budget goals for this year? Thank you so much, and we hope to see you at the Fun Run!
