Woodvale Elementary School

Today was the first day of a brand-new school year at Woodvale Elementary, and there is no better way to celebrate than by remembering why we are here: our students.

As you look through these pictures of our staff as elementary students, we hope you see more than just some adorable throwback photos. You’re looking at people who were once exactly where our students are today—little learners with big dreams, growing hearts, curious minds, and so much potential.

And now, years later, we have the incredible privilege of being the adults who get to believe in our students, encourage them, celebrate them, teach them, and help them discover just how special they are.

Our students are the reason we decorate the halls, plan the lessons, cheer a little louder, stay a little later, and give our very best each day. They are the reason we want Woodvale to feel like a place where every child is known, valued, loved, and reminded that they can do amazing things. 💙

Because someday, these little faces will look back at their elementary years just like we are looking back at ours today.
And we hope when they do, they remember how much they were loved.

We are so excited to welcome our K–5th grade students with ODD addresses tomorrow for their first day of school! 🎒✏️✨

Please take a moment to click the link below to review our arrival and dismissal reminders so we can help make the first day as smooth and magical as possible! Beginning this school year, all student walkers—including those walking to and from the
apartment complex next door—will enter and exit campus through the front gate only.

🌍✈️ Kazi's Summer Adventure! ✈️🌍

Kazi has had an exciting summer full of learning, fun, and adventure! 💙💛

His summer journey took him to the INFINITY Science Center, where he got up close with real space history — including a training pressure suit worn by an Apollo 13 astronaut and the actual Apollo 4 Command Module that flew on the first Saturn V launch! 🚀 He explored a full-scale Lunar Module replica, walked through a mock ISS module, and took a seat in the Orion Immersive Theater for an out-of-this-world experience. He also got hands-on in the Sandbox exhibit, building mountains and rivers to learn how watersheds work! 🏜️💧

What an incredible opportunity to explore new places, dive into science, and make unforgettable memories along the way!

We love seeing our Woodvale Eagles enjoying their summer adventures and can't wait to welcome Kazi back for another amazing school year! 🦅☀️

Easton and Ashton had a summer filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories! 💙💛

From exploring new places and playing until the sun went down to swimming, snacking, learning new things, and simply enjoying time together, these brothers made the most of every moment. Watching their personalities grow and seeing the joy on their faces made this summer one to remember. 🌊🌞🚗

As summer comes to a close, they're ready to trade swimsuits for backpacks, late nights for early mornings, and summer adventures for exciting new classroom memories. 📚🎒

We can't wait to welcome Easton and Ashton back for another magical year at Woodvale! We know they're going to have an amazing school year. 🦅✨

🌎✈️ Noah’s Summer Adventure! ✈️🌎

Noah has had an exciting summer full of travel and adventure! 💙💛

His summer journey took him to Chicago, followed by a few days exploring Canada. From there, he visited the breathtaking Mount Rainier National Park before wrapping up his trip in Seattle, Washington. 🏙️🇨🇦🏔️🌲

What an incredible opportunity to explore new places, experience beautiful scenery, and make unforgettable memories along the way!
