Students in Mrs. Jessie’s English 2 class regularly engage in reading complex text. Broad knowledge about history, science, culture, and society is the true foundation of strong reading comprehension. By reading diverse, content-rich texts, students accumulate the background knowledge necessary to understand increasingly complex material across all subject areas. Students’ answer text-dependent questions that require close reading. Students’ read, discuss, write and share their understanding with each other.
Today’s text was about Anti-Jewish Legislation in Prewar Germany. History in English!! Let’s go!!!
