We are so thankful for so many of these dedicated individuals - especially Ms. Pam, our Early Childhood Grant Funds Coordinator.

Ms. Pam brightens our days, keeps our department laughing, and always reminds us to enjoy life! Now, we return that gift to her! May she continue to enjoy every minute of her well-deserved retirement!

Last week, we celebrated and thanked our incredible coaching team of Early Learning Coaches and Resource Coordinators for the unwavering support, encouragement, and guidance they provide to early childhood classrooms across Lafayette Parish. 🍎✨

Your dedication to our teachers and students helps create joyful learning environments where children can grow, explore, and thrive every single day.

Thank you for leading with passion, compassion, and a heart for early childhood education. Over 400 classrooms of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are stronger because of you! 💚📚

Today, LPSS joins our community and nation in remembering and honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice continues to protect the freedoms and opportunities we cherish every day.

As we spend time with family and reflect on the meaning of this day, we extend our gratitude to the military families and veterans throughout Lafayette Parish whose service and sacrifice have shaped our communities and our nation.

Today marks the final workday on campuses for many of our educators and staff across LPSS. Records will be finalized, classrooms packed away, and hallways prepared for another summer before students return in the fall.

Thank you to every person who played a role in educating and supporting LPSS students this year. From teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, librarians, specialists, counselors, clerks, cafeteria technicians, custodians, bus drivers, SROs, district staff, board members, and parents, your work helped create safe opportunities for students to grow and experience the incredible culture of our LPSS schools each day.
