Lafayette Elementary PTO This is a Facebook group that helps build online community for Lafayette Elementary Cougar parents, teachers, and caregivers.

We want to help each other navigate opportunities to support the school and our kids education. Lafayette Elementary School’s Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) unites families, students, teachers, administrators, businesspeople, and community leaders devoted to children’s educational success and parents’ involvement in schools. Our PTO is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association that prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education.

Lafayette Elementary PTO strives to build a strong partnership between faculty and families by providing diverse opportunities for involvement. PTO funds sponsor various educational experiences and materials not allocated for in the school budget, including: school supplies to support Home Learning, a literacy paraprofessional, Teacher Appreciation Week, and more

Our Cougars & Community had so much fun today at Laps for Lafayette! Thank you for showing up and supporting.

Tally up those laps and make a final donation to help our school. To be considered for fundraising prizes, all donations are due by Monday EOD. We are 85% of the way to our goal. Go Cougars!

The new BVSD app is a little tricky but once you download it, it has great information and a quick way to contact and connect with your kid’s teachers.

We need volunteers!

One more week until Laps for Lafayette. It's our school's best fundraiser that makes a huge difference in getting extra teachers, clubs, field trips, and experiences for our kiddos at Lafayette Elementary.

Join Us for the First Lafayette Cougars PTO Meeting of the Year.

Make your voice count and help shape the upcoming school year! Join us on Thursday, September 10 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the Lafayette Elementary Library for our first Parent Teacher Organization meeting. We’ll be discussing back-to-school plans, reviewing and voting to approve this year’s budget, and hearing directly from the principal about how school funds are used to support our students.

We want to make attending as easy as possible for every family:

Free Dinner: Provided for all adults and kids!

Free Childcare: An age-appropriate movie will be playing in the media room so parents can focus on the meeting.

Virtual Option: Can't make it in person? Scan the QR code on the flyer to tune in online!
