This past Monday, Macon County FFA members kicked off the new school year by taking on the TN State Fair & Ham Breakfast! 🎉

Our members competed in a variety of contests, including:
🎤 Public Speaking
🥩 Meats Judging
🔥 Grilling
🌿 Environmental & Natural Resources
🐄 Livestock Judging

🏆 congrats to our Meats Judging Team for bringing home 1st Place! 🥇👏

We are also incredibly proud of all of our members who stepped outside of their comfort zones, tried new contests, and gave it their all! 💙💛

What a great way to kick off a new year of FFA.🌟

🎡 FFA MEMBERS AND PARENTS 🎡

It's time to sign up to volunteer for the FFA Concession stand at the Macon County Fair!! We are looking for parent and student volunteers to help out. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and provides funding for conventions, retreats, contests, and field trips! We are blessed to have a community that supports our chapter! We can’t wait to see everyone at the fair. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Rising sophomore-senior students wanting to attend National Convention in the coming school year are expected to sign up to work at least 2 shifts. Minimum of 8 hours.

Use the link below to view and sign up for available shifts! At least two people within each time slot must be an adult and one will be working the grill.

🍉 Now Serving Fresh Watermelon! 🍉

Starting tonight, we’ll have fresh, chilled watermelon available! With these hot summer days, there’s nothing better than cooling off with a sweet slice of locally grown watermelon.

A huge thank you to Catesa Farms LLCor generously donating the watermelon and supporting our community. We love being able to serve local products and support local agriculture!

🌽 And while you’re here, be sure to grab some fresh corn, generously donated by Kayla Jenkins!
