Exciting news. The Tiger Extension Academy is growing. Located at Progressive Baptist, this LRCA satellite campus is expanding to serve even more scholars in grades PK–4 with targeted academic support, structure, and personalized instruction. It’s a strong start for young scholars and a clear pathway forward because students can continue to the LRCA Middle School campus beginning in 5th grade and throughout High School.

Due to the threat of substantial rainfall and potentially hazardous weather conditions, all LRCA Summer Learning Programs will be closed on Tuesday, June 16th.

📚 Calling all LRCA Tigers interested in engineering, design, construction, or solving real-world problems!

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Civil Engineering Summer Camp is a great opportunity to explore engineering through hands-on projects, field experiences, and interactive learning. From bridge building to transportation planning, students will get a glimpse into exciting career paths while having fun along the way.

We encourage our Tigers to take advantage of this amazing opportunity and represent LRCA well!

Our Instructional Leadership Team spent valuable time together during our June PLA planning, collaborating, and team building as we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year.

As we reflected on a successful year and looked ahead to the future, we also took time to celebrate excellence among our team. Congratulations to our new American Hero and Educator of the Year, Mrs. Eden Sliman, and our Values Valedictorian, Ms. Leeann Flugence! These outstanding leaders exemplify the passion, integrity, and commitment that make our schools great.

The energy, vision, and dedication displayed throughout the day have us excited for what’s ahead. We are ready to unleash greatness and make the 2026-2027 school year our best yet!

🌍✈️ Our LRCA Tigers are having an unforgettable experience abroad!

From riding the London Eye, seeing Big Ben, exploring Brixton, and attending a theatre performance in London, to cruising the Seine River, visiting the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, and seeing the Eiffel Tower in Paris, our students are experiencing history, culture, and cuisine from around the world.

We are so proud of the way they are representing LRCA while learning beyond the classroom and creating memories that will last a lifetime!
