Summer Move-In is Saturday, June 6, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Before you arrive:
- Know your check-in location
- Review unloading and parking procedures
- Bring your own cart or dolly (move-in carts will not be available)
- Call your community duty phone if you have any questions

Mark your calendars, Ragin' Cajuns! Here are some important upcoming housing dates for both our first-time freshmen and our continuing students.
FIRST-TIME FRESHMEN
• June 10: Orientation registration deadline: You are required to register for an available Orientation session, but you do not need to attend Orientation by this date
• Mid-June: Freshmen assignments will be sent to university emails. Move-in appointments will be available for freshmen to book in this assignment email.
• August 3: Housing payment deadline: Must pay balance in full or be enrolled in a payment plan. Students who have not completed one of these will have their assignment cancelled & reassigned to another student.
• August 20–21: Official freshmen move-in days
CONTINUING STUDENTS
• June 10: Class registration deadline: To be eligible to live on campus, you are required to be a full-time student. If Fall 2026 classes are not registered by this date, your booking will be cancelled and reassigned to another student.
• In July: Move-In appointments will open for continuing students
• August 3: Housing payment deadline: Must pay balance in full or be enrolled in a payment plan. Students who have not completed one of these will have their assignment cancelled and reassigned to another student.
• August 22–23: Official continuing student move-in days

Congratulations, Graduates! 🤟
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette will celebrate its Spring 2026 graduates during Commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 15, at the Cajundome.
Spring Commencement will feature three ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students, with distinguished Louisiana leaders serving as speakers throughout the day.
🎓 The 9 a.m. ceremony for all graduates in the UL Lafayette B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration, the UL Lafayette College of Education & Human Development, and the UL Lafayette College of Nursing & Health Sciences will feature Bruce Greenstein, secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health.
🎓 At 1 p.m., graduates in the UL Lafayette College of Engineering and the UL Lafayette Ray P. Authement College of Sciences will hear from Julie Emerson, chief of staff for Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry.
🎓 The 5 p.m. ceremony for graduates in the UL Lafayette College of the Arts, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette College of Liberal Arts, and University College will feature Mark E. Romero, chairman of the University of University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors.
Tickets are not required, and ceremonies will be livestreamed on the CAJUNDOME website and the University’s main page. Guests attending in person should park at Cajun Field and note that the University’s clear bag policy will be in effect.

We are proud to partner with Goodwill Acadiana for our "Goodwill, Not Landfill" program during move-out. If you have any donations you no longer need, you may place them in the Goodwill boxes located in the lobbies of Bonin, Coronna, Baker, Huger, and Agnes Edwards Halls, as well as in the clubhouse at The Heritage Apartments.

🚨 Spring Move-Out is almost here, Cajuns! All residents must move out within 24 hours of their last final or by Saturday, May 9, at 5:00 p.m. (whichever comes first).
Before you go:
🧹 Remove ALL belongings + trash
🔑 Complete Express Check-Out (preferred method)
📦 Return your key, Ozzi coin, and P.O. Box key (if applicable)
🚗 Follow move-out parking guidelines
Common charges include improper check-out, damages to the room, or leaving items behind. Make sure to remove all personal items and trash, and properly check out. If you have any questions, talk to your RA/CA, Area Coordinator, or Property Manager.

🚨 ATTENTION FIRST-TIME FRESHMEN 🚨 Don’t miss the May 1 deadline!
Before May 1, 2026, make sure you:
✔️ Submit your housing application
Applications submitted after this date will be assigned based on proximity to campus and space availability.
✔️ Complete AND verify your roommate group
All roommate groups must be fully completed and verified by May 1 to be considered. We are unable to accept roommate groups after this deadline.
✔️ Accept your scholarship & apply for housing
Students offered a scholarship must complete both steps to secure their award and an on-campus space. After May 1, availability is not guaranteed and will depend on remaining funding and available housing.
Log in to the Housing Portal to apply for housing and visit ULink to accept your scholarship. Students with pending scholarship offers have been emailed detailed instructions.
