Good art, good food, good people, good times! pARTiculars Gallery will feature their annual Members Show titled “Full Circle” thru July 31. There will be a reception on Friday, June 12 from 4:30-8:30 p.m. during Lafayette Art Night Out in the gallery, located at 401 S. Public Rd.

In a time of anxiety and confusion, long time gallery member and instructor Molly Hargarten chooses to focus on things that give her JOY! Viewers will see pieces that depict her love of color, abstract art, travel, family, friends and pets. Molly adds a whimsical touch to her variety of media: fused glass, oil painting and artfully creative repurposed clothing. A reception will be on Friday, June 12, 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. during Lafayette Art Night Out where pARTiculars will host demonstrations in the tent in front of the gallery.

pARTiculars member Linda Bice, has created a special show for her May artist feature. OCEAN VIEWS AND FELTED HUES brings together soft pastel landscapes and hand-felted works inspired by the rhythm and colors of the sea. Through layers of blue, turquoise, and light, each piece reflects a quiet, tactile sense of calm and connection to the sea. Come say hi to Linda while enjoying the first Lafayette Art Night Out on Friday, May 8 from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Our May featured artist, Cathy Faughnan, uses acrylic and mixed media to create bold abstracted images of scenes she encounters or imagines. Using her signature bold brush strokes and vibrant colors, she has created for this show a mini-series titled DWELL. We all seek a sense of home and belonging in the places we choose to DWELL, and with these works, Cathy explores the many ways we choose to live from city streets to the solitude of a moonlit night in the wilderness. Plan to visit pARTiculars Gallery on May 8th 4:30-8:30 for her opening reception during the season’s first Art Night Out.
