UL Lafayette Horn Studio

Last Thursday night, the wind ensemble horn section ended the semester on literal high notes. Congrats to these musicians who “ate that up,” according to section member Justin Hardy.

This concert was also GTA Ellie Dean’s last concert in the ULL school of Music. She graduates this May with a Master’s in Music Performance 📯

Also congratulations and thank you to Dr. David Campo for all the hard work and inspiring collaborative spirit that he has brought to the ULL wind ensemble over the past year. Though our time has been short, it has been an honor to work under such a joyous individual!

We enjoyed a masterclass and recital with Shawn Hagen thanks to an invite from McNeese State University and the Banner series!

Wish our performers in the UL Orchestra luck as they travel today to New Orleans to perform for the Louisiana Musc Educators Conference with Guest Artists Project Trio! They did a great job at last night’s performance in Angelle hall.
