Unitech Training Academy - Lafayette Campus Welcome to Unitech Training Academy!

Unitech Training Academy was granted a license by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education on April 24, 1997 and became a fully operational proprietary school. Beginning with one program, the Certified Nursing Assistant program, the school now offers other programs to meet the needs and demands of the community and surrounding parishes. Unitech Training Academy is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Regents and was accredited by the Council on Occupational Education in June 2003.

They talked about resumes, interviews, what employers look for, and what to expect on the job while sharing their own experiences!

We’re excited to introduce Kimberly Alfred, our Dental Assisting Instructor! 🦷 💚 Kimberly brings 9 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, with experience in both the clinical and administrative side. She has had the opportunity to work alongside amazing dental professionals, care for patients of all ages, and gain experience in many areas of dentistry.

Kimberly also has a background as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), which strengthened her passion for caring for others and taught her the importance of compassion, patience, communication, and treating every patient with dignity and respect. 💙

Kimberly believes being a great Dental Assistant is about more than knowing instruments, procedures, and terminology, it’s about making patients feel safe and comfortable, supporting your dental team, communicating effectively, and always being willing to learn and grow! ✨

We’re excited to introduce Brittani Guidry, our Clinical Coordinator! 🩺Brittani brings an incredible 25 years of experience in the dental field to her new role at Unitech. After many years in dentistry, she wanted to take that experience and use it to help students build confidence and feel ready for their future careers in healthcare!✨ One of Brittani’s favorite parts of being a Clinical Coordinator is getting to cheer on our students and watch them grow as they take the next step toward their careers!💚

When she’s not at Unitech, Brittani is busy making memories with her husband, kids, and five dogs — yes, FIVE! 🐶 Whether it’s traveling somewhere new or enjoying time together at home, she’s all about spending time with the people (and pups) she loves most!✈️🐾
