With over a decade of classroom experience, Maya spent ten and a half years mastering the daily rhythms of teaching before channeling her passion into educational technology. Today, she focuses on exploring innovative digital tools designed to streamline workloads, simplify routines, and make the teaching day smoother for educators. When she isn't uncovering the latest tech solutions to support fellow teachers, Maya is an avid reader who loves winding down with a great book.

Mariah Miller is a 7th grade ELA teacher at L.J. Alleman Fine Arts Magnet Academy in Lafayette, Louisiana, and is entering her 12th year in education. She is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences for students and helping fellow educators find practical, time-saving strategies that make teaching a little easier and a lot more fun. Whether she’s exploring new technology tools, managing her school’s social media, or designing creative classroom activities, Mariah loves sharing ideas that can be implemented right away. Attendees can expect an upbeat session filled with real classroom examples, honest insights, and plenty of takeaways from a teacher who enjoys learning right alongside her students and colleagues.

Bringing the Boogie to the Classroom Since 2016. My journey in education kicked off in 2016, and I’ve been grooving to the beat of student success ever since.

I spent my first five years holding down the fort in 2nd grade, teaching all subjects and perfecting my classroom rhythm. From there, I danced my way into 3rd grade ELA for two and a half years, helping students find their voice and love for reading.

Today, I am groovin' as an Instructional Technology Facilitator—which is officially my favorite track on the playlist!
