Our Ragin’ Cajuns Trap and S***t Team held their annual fundraiser shoot on Saturday! We had great weather, amazing food and a great turnout supporting the team! We are so grateful for all our support, without the generosity of our supporters we could never have the opportunities we have! Special shoutout to our very own, Mr. Troy Roberie for winning HOA! Mr. Troy volunteers his time every week for the team and doesn’t get to shoot much anymore with how busy he is helping the team. We owe Mr. Troy big time for all the help he gives us! We can’t wait for the new season and are excited to see everyone at our next fundraiser!

Our Ragin Cajun trap and s***t team competed this past week at the ACUI National Championship! We had a great week and made many memories as a team! We placed 6th in our first year in the HOA division!

Some highlights from the week was
- Freshman Wyatt Kershaw shooting a phenomenal score of 560/600, with Freshman Coy Richard following with a 552/600. The rest of the team was close behind, with Senior Connor Scott scoring 544, and Junior Gavin Vincent shooting a respectable 543.
-Freshman Coy Richard broke a perfect 100/100 on American Trap, leading to a 36 way shootoff.
-Freshman Wyatt Kershaw placed 29th overall out of over 700 competitors.

We are less than a month away from our annual Ragin Cajuns Trap and S***t team annual benefit shoot on April 4th, 2026. This year we are awarding buckles to HOA male, female, and youth. The 2025 UL Trap & S***t Team’s Annual Benefit Shoot is upon us! To really show our appreciation to all of our supporters this year, we buckled down and decided to give away 3 guns at this year’s shoot. The Beretta A-300 Sporting Walnut and 2 Heritage .22 revolvers! The A-300 with be auctioned off through gun squares and the two .22 revolvers will be won through our famous Cajun Doubles and a Long Bird event. Presale for the gun squares for those who can’t make it this weekend will begin on Friday (4/4/25) 8:00am sharp and will run until the end of the shoot or until it fills up. It’s not too late to register for this shoot! Registration begins at Saturday (4/5/25) 9:00AM following by safety meeting with shooting beginning at 10:00AM. Please come out to support your Ragin’ Cajuns and be ready to have a good time and eat some delicious Cajun Cuisine. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out! Last week the our team members traveled to San Antonio to compete in the ACUI collegiate nationals. We are so proud of each and everyone one of our shooters. We also wanted to thank all of our seniors who are leaving and excited for the new up and coming!
