👏 Flashback Friday! 👏

Before the races, games, and friendly competition began, our students kicked off Field Day with a little dancing! There’s no better way to get warmed up than moving to “Church Clap” with your classmates. 🎶

We love the energy, excitement, and school spirit that make Field Day such a memorable end-of-the-year tradition at LCS!

What’s the most underrated class at LCS? 👀

We asked our students and staff, and their answers did not disappoint! From the classes that make them think, create, move, and grow, there are plenty of favorites hiding in plain sight.

But one class we never want to take for granted is Bible. What a privilege it is to open God’s Word together at school, ask big questions, grow in faith, and be reminded daily of who God is and who He created us to be.

Most of our Would You Rather questions are rapid response…but this one made people pause. While you might think there’s only one right answer — obviously hands for feet, right? — our respondents had to think through the logistics a little more carefully. 😂

✨ Flashback Friday ✨

We’re flashing back to a very special Chick-fil-A party in Mrs. Farrell’s 1st grade class! After earning their class reward, students enjoyed a delicious menu of chicken nuggets, waffle fries, mac and cheese, and lemonade. ❤️

A big thank you to Chick-fil-A Lafayette for donating the cups, nugget and fry boxes, and even an authentic Chick-fil-A employee name tag to make the celebration extra fun!

Our 1st graders loved their reward, and it was Mrs. Farrell and Mrs. Mirick’s pleasure to serve them. What a fun day to celebrate hard work! 🐄🍟
