Last week, we celebrated our 8th grade students and the accomplishments that earned them recognition at this year’s awards ceremony. Each name reflects hard work, leadership, and strong character.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients. We are proud of all you have achieved.

Last Friday morning was filled with energy, joy, and a strong sense of community within our House System.

We announced the overall house winner for the 2025-2026 school year: HOUSE OF MARK ❤️

We acknowledged the Golden Tigers (top earners) in each house: Elliot D., Arden B., Louise B., and Lauren W., who was also recognized for earning the most service hours!

Lastly, our 4th graders were officially sorted into one of the four CCS houses—Mark, Matthew, Luke, or John. ❤️💙💛💚

We are incredibly proud to share that our school community raised $11,074.23 for the Change for Miles Campaign! 💙
This meaningful effort supports the vital work of the Miles Perret Cancer Center, helping provide care, resources, and hope to those in our community who need it most.

Last night’s FCA Dinner was such a special time bringing students and parents together. We were honored to hear from Coach Dane Adams, who challenged us to live with grit, make intentional choices, and keep Christ at the center of it all.
We are grateful for a community that supports our athletes not just in the field, but in their faith and character.

Pictured here at the Louisiana Arts and Science Museum, 6th grade students got to create their own hieroglyphics, explore our solar system, and work collaboratively to build robots.

Last week’s 5th grade trip to McGee’s Landing was such a fun and memorable day.

They explored the swamp on a guided tour, learned all about alligators, and even got the chance to hold a baby alligator which was definitely a highlight.  So much hands-on learning, so many great questions, and a whole lot of excitement packed into one day. 🐊

This year’s Talent Show was once again a huge success! Bravo to all of the participants who were brave enough to take the stage and share their gifts with us 👏🏽 The audience was certainly in awe over the range of talent displayed!

Thank you to the House of Matthew for organizing this wonderful event. We would also like to thank for helping with the backdrop.

Today we welcomed a very special visitor to school - Tiger Dad, Mr. Eduardo Alleyn! Our 3rd graders loved learning from a real chef about his career, getting a hands-on introduction to Cajun cuisine, and discovering how he creates such delicious dishes.

He also shared the importance of safe food handling and took time to answer all of their thoughtful questions. What a fun (and flavorful!) way to learn! 🦞

Joy filled our campus over the last few weeks as our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade students celebrated the gift of Easter with egg hunts and time together. Laughter, excitement, and sweet moments of friendship were everywhere you looked.

Easter reminds us of the true joy we have in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise of new life. We are so grateful to share these traditions with our students as we continue to grow in faith.

Wishing all of our families a blessed and joyful Easter Sunday. 🌷✝️
