๐ End of an Era: Celebrating Broadmoorโs Legendary Retirees ๐
They say that home isnโt a place; itโs the people who fill it. For decades, the hallways of Broadmoor have been filled with the warmth, dedication, and brilliant minds of four extraordinary women. This year, we are bidding a bittersweet farewell to four legends who have collectively given over 120 years of service to our students, families, and community.
Please join us in celebrating and honoring our 2026 retirees:
๐ Ms. Angela Vesper โ 4th Grade ELA (34 Years in Education)
For 34 remarkable years, Ms. Vesper has been a keeper of stories and a champion for young readers. She didnโt just teach 4th graders how to analyze a text; she taught them how to find their own voices. Decades of students have crossed her threshold and left with a deeper love for literature and the confidence to express themselves. Thank you, Ms. Vesper, for bringing your master-level dedication to Broadmoor and making our school a brighter place.
๐ค Ms. Robin Stonecipher โ DHH Pre-K (29 Years in Education)
Ms. Stonecipher has spent 29 years creating a world of connection, inclusion, and love for Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners. Her classroom has always been a sanctuary of patience, where communication barriers were broken and our youngest students were given the tools to thrive. Her fierce advocacy and gentle guidance have transformed the lives of countless families. Thank you, Ms. Stonecipher, for teaching us all what it truly means to listen with our hearts.
๐ Ms. Brenda Adams โ 2nd Grade (33 Years in Education)
With 33 years of grace and dedication under her belt, Ms. Adams has been a foundational pillar for generations of children. In 2nd grade, students are growing so fast, and Ms. Adams has always been the perfect anchorโoffering a nurturing environment, a brilliant smile, and an unwavering belief in every childโs potential. Thank you, Ms. Adams, for choosing to share your incredible gift for teaching with our Broadmoor community.
๐ Ms. GiGi Hanna โ ESL Para (26 Years in Education)
For 26 years, Ms. GiGi has been a beacon of welcome, comfort, and bridge-building. Navigating a new language and culture can be daunting, but Ms. GiGi has made it her life's work to ensure that English School Learners feel seen, safe, and valued from day one. Her kindness knows no borders, and her impact on our families is immeasurable. Thank you, Ms. GiGi, for making Broadmoor feel like a true home for everyone.
"A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." โ Henry Adams
To our four retirees: Your collective decades of service have left an indelible mark on the hearts of thousands of children. You have earned every bit of relaxation, adventure, and sleep-in that retirement brings.
Broadmoor is infinitely better because you spent your final chapters with us. ๐๐ฆ๐
Leave your favorite memories, well-wishes, and thank-yous for Ms. Vesper, Ms. Stonecipher, Ms. Adams, and Ms. GiGi in the comments below!

๐๐ป Bear Bash 2026 was a huge success! ๐ป๐ Part 3
We wrapped up Broadmoor's very last event of the school year with our annual Bear Bash! Even though we had to pivot to an indoor celebration, our students still had an absolute blast celebrating the end of the school year together.
This special day is for every single student at Broadmoor, and it was completely funded by Broadmoor's amazing PTO! We are so incredibly thankful for our PTO and the unmatched support they give us, not only for this event but throughout the entire school year.
A special shoutout and massive thank you goes to our incredible PE staff who ran the entire day and kept the energy high!
We also want to send a big thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who came out to help monitor students and keep everything running smoothly. We could not pull off these types of events without your support. Broadmoor truly has the best parent volunteers around!
Thank you as well to our dedicated teachers and support staff. Not only did they monitor students throughout the day to keep safety our top priority, but they also jumped right in to pop and serve popcorn and make snowballs for our Bears!
We know everyone had an amazing time! Only 1 more day until sweet summertime, Bears! โ๏ธ๐ถ๏ธ๐ฟ๐ง
