💖Pretty in Pink, for a Purpose
-Today, our CTC family showed up in their best pink to stand together in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

From our staff to our students, we’re proud to see so much love, unity, and support all in one room. Because sometimes, a little pink can say a whole lot. We wear pink to honor those who have fought, celebrate those who continue to fight, remember those we’ve lost, and remind every person affected by breast cancer that they are never alone!

✨Behind the Beauty
-Our Level 3 cosmetology students recently stepped into their bridal era for a little friendly competition!

From the first brush stroke and bobby pin to the final reveal, these students had the chance to put their creativity, technique, and attention to detail to the test as they created their own bridal hair + makeup looks.

And let’s be honest… the behind-the-scenes is half the fun.😂
-There was planning.
-There was styling.
-There was blending.
-There were probably a few “hold on, let me fix this”moments.
-And then came the transformations.

We love giving our students opportunities to step outside the everyday classroom routine, get creative, challenge themselves, and experience the kind of hands-on work that prepares them for the beauty industry.

✨Congratulations Claudia
-Somehow, the beautiful, kind, wonderfully goofy girl we’ve gotten to know around CTC is now officially a cosmetology graduate!

Claudia has a way of bringing laughter into a room, making people smile, and being unapologetically herself. She’s sweet, she’s caring, she’s got a personality all her own—and she’s going to be missed around here.

There’s something really special about watching someone you’ve known as a student reach the moment where you get to step back and say, “Look at you!”

Claudia, we hope you know how loved you are by the people who have gotten to be part of this chapter with you. We hope you take all the good memories with you—the laughs, the friendships, the crazy days, the little moments that probably didn’t seem important at the time but somehow became the ones you’ll remember most.

And wherever cosmetology takes you from here, please keep being Claudia. Keep laughing. Keep being kind. Keep making people feel good just by being around them. And absolutely never lose that goofy side of you.

We’re so happy we got to have you here, and even happier that we get to call you one of our CTC graduates.

✨Celebrating Asiana
-Some accomplishments deserve a little extra celebration. Today, we’re celebrating Asiana—and a journey that was anything but easy.

There were undoubtedly days when the finish line felt far away. Days that required more patience, more determination, and more faith in herself than she probably ever expected to need.

But she kept going. And that makes seeing her standing here today, in her graduation moment, that much more meaningful.🥹

Asiana, your graduation is a reminder that success doesn’t always look like a perfectly smooth journey. Sometimes it looks like showing up when it’s hard. Trying again. Pushing through the moments that make you question yourself. And refusing to let the difficult days have the final say.

You did that.

Today, we hope you take a moment to truly let that sink in. Look at how far you've come. Look at what you accomplished. Look at the girl who kept going—and the cosmetology graduate standing here now.

We are incredibly proud of you, Asiana, and grateful that CTC got to be a part of your story. Your journey has made this moment even more special, and we hope you carry this accomplishment with you every time you doubt what you're capable of.

You already proved something to yourself that no one can ever take away: you can do hard things!

✨And just like that… Audrey is a COSMETOLOGY GRADUATE!

Some chapters end with a little more emotion than others. This one comes with happy tears, proud smiles, a whole lot of memories, and one very well-deserved, “YOU DID IT!”

Audrey, your time at CTC has been filled with so much more than learning what happens behind the chair. It’s been about discovering your creativity, finding your confidence, figuring things out when they didn’t come easily, laughing through the busy days, and making memories along the way.

And now, you get to take all of those experiences with you into whatever comes next.

When you look back on your time here, we hope you remember the people who cheered you on, the friendships you made, the moments that made you laugh until your cheeks hurt, and even the days that challenged you a little more than you expected. Those are the pieces that make your CTC journey uniquely yours.

Today, we get to celebrate the girl who walked through our doors as a student and is walking out as a beauty professional with an entire world of possibilities ahead of her.

✨STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Mrs. Brandy Alleman

Meet CTC’s Level 1 Cosmetology Instructor! Mrs. Brandy has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2012, and has been sharing her passion for cosmetology as an instructor since 2016. With more than a decade in the beauty industry and years of experience guiding future cosmetologists, she brings so much more than technical knowledge into her classroom.

For Mrs. Brandy, teaching cosmetology is about so much more than hair, makeup, and mastering skills. It’s about encouraging, inspiring, building confidence, and making the journey a memorable one. She believes cosmetology school should be fun, exciting, full of laughter—and yes, a LOT of hard work! She loves making her students laugh, creating memories with them, and reminding them that it’s possible to work hard toward your goals while still enjoying the journey along the way.

And if you’ve ever been greeted by Mrs. Brandy at the time clock, you probably know one of her favorite traditions:
-“GOOD MORNING!”☀️
or
-“HAVE A GOOD EVENING!”🌙
It may seem like a simple greeting, but for Mrs. Brandy, starting someone’s day with a smile can make all the difference.

Her goal is to help her students develop not only their cosmetology skills, but also confidence, professionalism, creativity, perseverance, and the ability to believe in themselves.

Her philosophy is simple:
-Teach them.
-Encourage them.
-Make them laugh.
-Make them smile.
-Make an impact.
-Leave a little piece of yourself with every student you teach.💖

When Mrs. Brandy isn't at CTC, you'll often find her in her salon alongside her daughter, where these two have earned quite the reputation as the ultimate mother-daughter beauty duo for hair, makeup, and special events. Apparently, the love for cosmetology runs DEEP in this family! Her fiancé is also a cosmetologist and has even shared his talents by teaching clipper classes here at CTC.

Between the classroom, the salon, family, and her beloved grand baby, Ivy Mae, there’s never a shortage of stories, experiences, laughter, or beauty-industry wisdom with Mrs. Brandy around! We are so grateful to have her enthusiasm, heart, humor, and passion as part of the CTC family! 🩷💙
