Hi! I'm available as a backup sitter, weekend or date night sitter, or regular care for up to 3 children, one adult, or multiple pets! I'm on Care.com. I'm posting here, as well. Rate is $20/hr but is negotiable. All hours available in my home, hours negotiable at yours. I'm on the North End of Lafayette, convenient to WL and bus lines. I'm a mom of 4, grandma of 4 and dogmom of 3. I'm a Purdue graduate and am CPR/First Aid certified. I do prefer my own home and am happy to care for any ages including infants. I have my own reliable transportation and can take your children to occasional appointments, etc . I am available for any hours but need to limit because of some physical issues that interfere with any ability to work full-time.
I love kids and support autonomy, independence, and nurturing critical thinking and problem solving skills. Need a substitute grandma or honorary aunt for your child? I will care for any ages but love the littlest ones a lot! I love to teach. I can help with homework. I enjoy reading aloud and watching old movies. I also have Disney+...lol
I love dogs and cats, anything furry, really...lol Fish, birds, other? No problem! I can drop in and feed or give potty breaks or hang with them, happily. I especially love pet cuddles!
Also offering warm, friendly, conversational, homestyle elder care in their home. I have care experience with older and/or disabled adults. I can offer laundry, food prep, light housekeeping including bed changes, personal care, or just company so you have a break! FYI: my lifting is limited, however. Ambulatory is preferred. I love the stories older people tell and I have a lot of respect for their experience!
