What a boost to public education having Krista at the helm of Indiana Association of Public Education Foundations. She is the best!!!
👋 Meet Krista Kindler Baber, Association Administrator of the Indiana Association of Public Education Foundations (INAPEF) and Chapter Administrator of the Indiana School Public Relations Association (INSPRA).
Krista has dedicated her career to strengthening the backbone of Indiana’s education system. By leading two statewide associations, she supports education foundations and school PR professionals, helping them secure vital resources and build deeper connections with their local communities.
🏫 Her experience in relationship-building and resource development has grounded her work in a unique vantage point: seeing exactly how schools foster innovation while also seeing firsthand how schools help families stay connected and supported.
🌟 According to Krista, because “they bring communities together to give every child the chance to learn, grow, and succeed. Public schools don’t just educate students; they strengthen the entire community.”
“The success of our schools is the success of our communities and our future workforce,” says Krista.
Outside of work, Krista is grateful for the moments spent with her family. She loves watching her kids play sports, volunteering at their school, and rolling up her sleeves for house projects.

What a fun way to spread kindness!
For their final project of the year, the WRM Bring Change 2 Mind Club wanted to spread positivity and appreciation throughout the school. Inspired by the popular “secret clipping” TikTok trend, BC2M members decorated 200 clothespins with encouraging messages and, over the course of two days, secretly clipped them onto teachers as a fun way to show how loved and appreciated they are.
The project was a huge success and brought smiles to both students and staff alike!

During , we had the opportunity to celebrate the incredible creativity and dedication of our local educators during the 2026 PSFTC Spring Grant Reception 🍎
This spring we received 21 grant applications from teachers across our community:
📍18 from TSC

We’re especially excited that 10 of the 13 selected teachers were first-time grant recipients and we were honored to recognize both new and returning educators at our grant reception.
This year applications represented a wide variety of innovative classroom ideas, including:
📚 8 Literacy projects
🔬 3 STEM projects
🌿 3 Conservation/Nature projects
🏛️ 3 Social Sciences/FACS projects
🏃 2 PE/Health projects
🎶 1 Art/Music project
Big thanks to every teacher who applied and continues to inspire curiosity, creativity and growth in our schools every day!
