These five Bluebirds were up bright and early for their first classes of 2026 at the New Orleans Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive! Congratulations on a great first day, girls! We can't wait to see what's in store next! 🩵🩰✨

TUESDAY OPEN CLASSES:
Ages 7-9 Hip-Hop and Traditional Jazz (4:00-5:00)
Ages 9-12 Dance Making Choreography Clinic (4:30-6)
Ages 7-9 Acrobatics (5:00-6:00)
Ages 9-12 Acrobatics (6:00-7:00)
Ages 12+ Acrobatics (6:00-7:00)
Teen to Adult Stretch and Strength (6:00 to 7:00)
Ages 12+ Pointe (7:00-8:00)

We would like to wish the following students safe travels and a fantastic experience as they leave for the New Orleans Ballet Theatre 2026 Summed Intensive: Melina Morgan-Ma'aele, Annie Rose Vale, Breezy Bourque, Eloise Chauvin, Eloise Greig

These dedicated young students will spend the next two weeks receiving premier training, including classes in ballet technique, pointe, variations, pas de deux, character, jazz, contemporary, pilates, music, dance history, and yoga taught by professional teachers from NOBT and International Companies, as per the New Orleans Ballet Theatre website.

Congratulations to these talented dancers and best of luck as you take this exciting next step on your dance journey! ☀️🩵🩰✨

Bluebirds would like to wish safe travels and the best of luck to Bluebirds Ballet Company Senior Soloist Sadie Parker as she leaves for the Next Generation Ballet 2026 Summer Intensive in Tampa, FL!

Sadie received a merit-based scholarship and will spend the next five weeks receiving 30 to 35 hours of weekly instruction, a rigorous dance combined schedule with a structured, safe environment and the opportunity to perform on a world-class stage, as per the Next Generation Ballet website.

Congratulations to lovely Sadie on taking this exciting next step in her dance journey -- everyone at Bluebirds is so proud of you! 🩵👑🩰✨

We would like to wish the best memories and experiences to Bluebirds Ballet Company Senior Soloist Mollie Benoit during her time at the Orlando Ballet 2026 Summer Intensive in Orlando, FL!

Mollie is spending two weeks at this immersive training experience where she will train daily in ballet technique, variations, modern, jazz, character and conditioning, including pilates, yoga and strength work, all in a supportive, professional environment, as per the Orlando Ballet School website.

We are so proud of this beautiful young dancer for spreading her wings and taking this next step on her dance journey, and can't wait to hear all about her experience when she returns! 🩵🌹🩰✨

DAY TWO of SUMMER DANCE FUN at Bluebirds! Our Pre-Intensive Intensive students received a Franklin Method class from the wonderful Ms. Alyce Morgan this morning, followed by an afternoon featuring Ballet and Creative/Movement for ages 7-9, Ballet and Jazz/Hip-Hop for dancers aged 9-12, and Teen to Adult Tap class. Thank you to everyone who showed up and to our fabulous instructors for a fantastic Thursday! ☀️🩵🩰✨💕

First day of SUMMER DANCE 2026 at Bluebirds Ballet was a HUGE SUCCESS! We were so thrilled to see so many new faces today in our Preschool and Primary Dance classes. Looking forward to a summer full of fun memories and DANCING! 🏖️🩰🩵✨🏄‍♀️
