Dr. Harlet successfully defended her dissertation on 19th-century Louisiana literature as part of a cotutelle (joint-supervision) doctoral program between University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Université Bordeaux Montaigne. Congratulations to Jonathan Mayers, PhD student and doctoral fellow in our program, for this publication that just came out. His book chapter ("radbwa ê tiré tik-layé: opossum Pulling Off the Ticks") is part of a new collected volume from Routledge on Naming and Being: Knowledges, Identities, and Cultural Politics
