Before you post, keep these safety tips in mind:
📍 Leave out your child's school name, grade, teacher, or bus number.
🏡 Check the background for house numbers, street signs, or other identifying details.
🔒 Review your privacy settings and ONLY sharing photos with friends and family whenever possible.

After being away since 2018, Northside High School’s Link Crew is officially back! ❤️🖤 We had an amazing time welcoming our freshmen and helping them kick off their high school journey. Our Link Leaders stepped up, showed out, and made sure our newest Vikings felt welcomed and ready for their first year!

A special THANK YOU to our CAFE Team for providing breakfast for our Link Crew leaders and supporting them as they prepare to pour into others throughout the school year. ❤️

We also want to say how grateful we are for our Link Crew faculty sponsors, Ms Skylar Wilson, Ms Sydney Wilson, and Ms Destinie Lewis, as well as Ms Kaydra Ellis and all faculty and staff who pitched in. They put in quite a bit of work to make this event happen, and it was wonderful to see the return of this meaningful group to our campus!

Don't forget about the new communication platform, SchoolStatus Connect! This will be a one stop shop where you can send and receive messages from teachers and admin about events on campus and student academics.

We already have 252 Northside families who have downloaded the app or visited the SchoolStatus Connect webpage. If you haven't already, complete the log in process so you don't miss any important communication from us!

Beginning August 7, LPSS will launch SchoolStatus Connect, our new district-approved communications platform. Families will be able to receive important school updates in one place while also benefiting from easier two-way communication with their child's school.

Before August 7, we encourage families to verify that the phone number and email address listed in Parent Portal (JCampus) are up to date. Then, watch for a text message invitation to get started.
