Michael Bunker is playing the role of Austin.

Michael Bunker is a transplant to Lafayette and a design graduate from ULL. He has been a part of a number of Film and Theatre productions in the area and abroad, from The "Sound of
Music" to "The Lost Prophet". Michael is thankful for the opportunity to portray Austin, and to take you, the audience, on this journey into the world of True West. When not on stage, he enjoys writing, collecting books, movies, singing, as well as spending time with family and friends. He is a part of
the Marooned Film Collective in Baton Rouge as well as the local chapter of The Play
Pretenders. Enjoy the show.

Joseph William Vildibill is our Director.

Joseph Vildibill is an Actor, Director, and Playwright whose mission is to always do what
intrigues himself the most. Currently attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a
focus on acting and is set to graduate in the spring of next year. Joseph is eager to get out there to
create art for arts sake and leave nothing unsaid.
“True West” by Sam Shepard is his debut as a Director. He has also been in the following
shows as an actor: ULL’s “Tempest”, LRE’s “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, Katherine
LeBlanc’s “Western Musical” and “Western sequel”.

Gina Baronne is our Stage Manager.

Gina Baronne is a native of Baton Rouge & graduated with a BFA from the UL in Theater. She has provided design & technical work on many productions throughout south Louisiana over the last 25 years. She has worked with and for several producers, including productions with Cite des Arts, BRLT, Abbey Players, SAS, UL, Ovation, ART, Evangeline Players, AUI/AURA, The Compound, The Tea-Sippers, The Riveters, Wonderland, The Looking Glass, Streva Productions, BTE, & LRE. She also stage managed & provided tech at The Riant Theater Strawberry One-Act Festival in New York City & Sue Schleifer’s Take Down the Letters, performed at NOLA Infringe Fest. She is a co-founder of Shelby Have Productions, directing Hedwig & the Angry Inch, and co-directing The Rocky Horror Show, Chicago & Rent. She has directed the Big Brothers, Big Sisters murder mystery benefit show for the past 8 years and recently did the costumes for The Juneteenth Story. Next she will be a part of the productions of A Few Good Men & Sister Act. Gina would like to thank the cast & crew for all their hard work & allowing her to be a part of this production.
