🎉We are so excited to celebrate Ms. Maleah for completing her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential! 🎉

This is such an incredible accomplishment and reflects her dedication, passion, and commitment to early childhood education. A CDA is a nationally recognized credential that focuses on the growth and development of young children while strengthening a teacher’s knowledge in creating safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environments.

Through this process, Ms. Maleah has completed extensive coursework, professional training, and classroom observations to further her skills as an educator. Her hard work will continue to make a positive impact on our children, families, and staff each day.

This week in our Preschool Science Lab, our students became little scientists as they explored nature, observation, and discovery through hands-on learning experiences! 🔍🌿

Using animal bones and natural materials, our preschoolers practiced:
✨ Observation skills
✨ Critical thinking
✨ Scientific inquiry
✨ Vocabulary development
✨ Curiosity and exploration
Students used their observation skills to examine shapes, textures, sizes, and details — just like real scientists! After exploring and discussing their discoveries, they extended their learning through creative self-expression with art to reflect what they observed and learned.

Today our little learners explored painting their very own canvases! Through hands-on art experiences, children are building so much more than just a masterpiece — they are strengthening their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and sensory exploration.

Painting allows children to explore textures, colors, and self-expression while developing the small muscles in their hands that help with future skills like writing, cutting, and everyday tasks.

This week our friend explored balance, problem-solving, and cause-and-effect through hands-on play! By moving rocks and adjusting the balance board, they are building early STEM skills, strengthening fine motor development, and learning how objects work together.
