Southside High Cheer Camp is just around the corner! Join the SHS Cheerleaders for three days of fun, learning, and spirit-building.

📅 June 23–25
⏰ 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
👧 Open to students entering Grades 1–8 for the 2026-2027 school year
💲 $100 (payment collected at the door on the first day)

Campers will:
⭐ Learn cheer material
⭐ Practice cheer skills
⭐ Play games
⭐ Make crafts
⭐ Enjoy snacks
⭐ Receive a camp t-shirt
⭐ Make new friends and meet the SHS Cheerleaders

Parents are invited to join us for a special pep rally and meet-and-greet with Sharkie and the cheerleaders at 12:30 PM on the last day of camp!

Today was another great day for our Summer Reading Program! We want to extend a huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, helpers, and staff who gave their time and energy to make today a success. Your support helps encourage and inspire our young readers every step of the way.

A special thank you also goes to all the parents and guardians who brought their children in to test today. Your commitment to your child's reading journey makes a tremendous difference, and we appreciate your partnership.

Keep your reading momentum going this summer and work toward becoming a Million Word Reader. Our library will be open tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for students to take their AR tests and earn points toward their goals.
