Lambda Layout: LJ Batson
LJ Batson, a junior majoring in Kinesiology, has demonstrated exemplary leadership within our chapter since rushing in the fall of 2021. Holding key roles such as High Sigma, High Theta (external VP), and currently serving as High Beta (internal VP), LJ has definitely left his mark.

During his time as High Theta, LJ was able to raise over $6000 in donations and 9500 food items for Second Harvest Food Bank. These efforts earned our chapter the Community First Award at the 2024 FSL Awards.

Aside from Lambda Chi, LJ is actively involved in the Kinesiology Professional Association and the Greek Unity Board. As a member of Greek Unity Board, he played an instrumental role in bringing Greek Week back to campus after five years

Thrilled to share our successes from the 2023-2024 Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards! Our chapter was honored with the prestigious 5 Star Chapter Award and the Community First Award, reflecting our dedication to excellence and community service.

Individual awards were also abundant: Nick Lawson’s outstanding service as IFC Vice President of Recruitment earned him the Council Executive of the Year title, while Jamey Arnette’s guidance was recognized with the Outstanding Fraternity Advisor award. A huge shoutout to Yoani Suarez and Seth Duet for their induction into the Omicron Class of Greek Hall of Fame, and Seth’s additional wins for IFC Member of the Year and the Four Councils, One Community award. Seth also attended the Ragin Recognition Awards where he was inducted into the UL Hall of Fame (1898 Society).

Our chapter is very proud to showcase these award recipients and thrilled to see their hard work rewarded.

Guided by the fraternal code of leadership, brotherhood, scholarship, and service, we are pleased to announce the start of the formal recruitment season, and we are excited to be a part of it! Another successful Lambda Palooza. This year we decided to bring back our taco cook off. A huge thanks to all of the teams who made tacos for this event and a special thanks to .du.teche and Violet Barrier for playing for us.

Last week our guys participated in Greek Week for the first time since 2019. Huge shoutouts to .duet ,.batson , and the rest of for working hard to bring Greek Week back to campus.
