We spent today thoughtfully reworking one of our four-year-old classrooms with a focus on strengthening the third teacher — the environment itself.

Our goal is always to create spaces that invite curiosity, independence, and meaningful play. We’re excited for families to see the changes and even more excited to observe how the children use and respond to the space over time.

Our Lafayette preschool classroom got a little extra love this week ✨

At Little Bird, we pay close attention to our “third teacher” — the environment. When we listen to what the space is telling us (what kids are drawn to, what they explore, what needs refreshing), we can better support curiosity, creativity, and meaningful learning.

A few small changes can make a big difference in how children play, discover, and grow — and this room is ready for a whole new round of wonder 💛

🐾 A look inside our Veterinarian’s Office at MAC Play Collective 🩺

This thoughtfully designed space invites children to care for animals, explore real-world roles, and engage in meaningful, imaginative play. From checkups to gentle care, it’s all about curiosity, empathy, and learning through play.

Still a work in progress, but this child-sized kitchen is already inviting real-world, imaginative play. A cozy space for cooking, gathering, and creating together.

McMinnville Play Collective is almost ready to open! This will double as a preschool and play center for families! Our play center will be Reggio Inspired and Wonderled!

We are looking for a few donations of boxed food containers (without the food for our grocery store), a food or wine barrel, and adult size accent chairs. If you or anyone you know is getting rid of things like that, we would love them!
