Fr. Russo and Fr. Schumacher met with our Parent-Teacher Club to discuss the new school year and share their vision for a faith-filled and successful year ahead. We’re grateful for their leadership and for the continued partnership with our PTC as we begin another great year at STM!

The Class of 2027 kicked off their senior year with an early morning on the football field, watching the sun rise together before gathering in the chapel for Mass.

Last night, our football team along with players from Cathedral-Carmel School, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School - Lafayette, La, St. Cecilia School and St. Pius Elementary School - Lafayette, Louisiana gathered to pray the rosary and participate in the blessing of the helmets. This morning, we celebrated our first school Mass of the new school year! We were blessed to welcome our Chancellor, Fr. Michael Russo, as celebrant, concelebrated by our Chaplain, Fr. Andrew Schumacher, and Fr. Patrick Broussard. Following Mass, Fr. Russo blessed our school and the year ahead. A special thank you to our Music Ministry team for helping to make our Mass so beautiful through their music.

Congratulations to Max Mason on receiving the Eraste Autin Fighting Heart Award. This is the highest individual honor an STM football player can earn. The award is voted on by the team and represents the player who demonstrates the most dedication to excellence, spirit, leadership, and hard work.
