We are looking for dedicated, reliable teachers with experience working with preschool age children to join our team. We have several positions available working with different age groups (infant, toddler and preschool). Our teaching hours are 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with flexible staff development and teacher planning time on Mondays.

Teaching candidates must possess a minimum of 12 ECE units and one year experience. We offer a team environment, opportunities for professional development, collaboration and connection, benefits and competitive salary in a prime location. Experience with NAEYC accreditation a plus!

We celebrated another successful Wheel Day at Seedlings yesterday! Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who helped set up, run the event and brought vehicles for hundreds of children to explore!

**WE HAVE LIMITED OPENINGS IN OUR 3'S AND Pre-Kindergarten programs for the 2019-2020 school year**

Seedlings Preschool is a state licensed learning center of the Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church serving children age 6 months through 5 years old. Our hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Our Tree House program offers an optional extended hour until 3:15 p.m. for children two years and older, Monday through Thursday. Admission is not limited by reason of religious, racial or national background. Our center is set in the beautiful hills of Lamorinda and has been in operation since 1983.

Our mission is to provide a play-based, child centered learning experience which nurtures the emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual needs of young children. Seedlings’ core values include excellence in staffing and planning; a developmentally appropriate and safe learning environment; and support of parents and families. WHEEL DAY IS COMING!!! Join us on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 10:AM to 12:PM at LOPC: 49 Knox Dr., Lafayette. Wheel Day has been a Seedlings family tradition for 25 years and is ALWAYS fun! Come and see firetrucks, police vehicles, buses, tractors, and much more! Climb into the cab of a Big Rig or sit on the back of a cool motorcycle. This event is free but food is available for purchase. Buy something from our Bake Sale or Book Sale and help us raise money for our spring Grateful Gathering! Come on down and bring your friends!
