Carmen Smith from GOHSEP and Jim Williams, the Public-Private Partnership Officer at the NIMSAT Institute, kicked off the GOHSEP Academy course today with Practical Exercises, Tabletop Exercises (TTX), After-Action Reviews (AAR), and Improvement Plans.

This course offers hands-on training in key techniques for evaluating and improving performance in dynamic operational environments. By the end of the course, participants will have a well-rounded skill set in assessing performance, enhancing team coordination, and driving continuous improvement in both tactical and strategic contexts.

The session continues tomorrow after a networking breakfast provided by the Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Association.
