LTC Greater Acadiana Region 4

The 8th Annual ATC/SLCC A Taste of Success is scheduled for Friday, April 20, 2012, 6:30 p.m. at the Heymann Convention Center in Lafayette.

The evening will be filled with:

*Delicious food prepared by alumni of the ATC Lafayette Campus Culinary Arts & Occupations program that are now serving as chefs at fine restaurants in the Acadiana area.
*Darla Montgomery (KLFY TV10), Mistress of Ceremonies.
*Special appearance by Heart-n-Soul Jump Rope Team from Parkview Baptist High School Jump Rope in Baton Rouge.
*Musical entertainment by Bradley Venable and Kajun Kraze including ATC Charles B. Coreil Campus Welding instructor Donald Soileau as drummer.
*Live and silent auctions featuring unique items designed and fabricated by ATC/SLCC students and instructors. Eric Robicheaux (Farm Bureau and ATC/SLCC Foundation Director), Live Auction Auctioneer.
*Proceeds from the evening are dedicated to funding the greatest needs of the ATC/SLCC campuses.

South Louisiana Community College and Acadiana Technical College will be closed today due to weather conditions.

Faculty and staff should report if it is safe to do so.

South Louisiana Community College and Acadiana Technical College are carefully monitoring weather conditions. There are no plans at this time to close the colleges on Wednesday, March 21. Classes and events will run as scheduled.

Please continue to monitor college messages. Should weather conditions warrant cancellations or closures, information will be provided via the Emergency Notification System and the colleges’s websites at southlouisiana.edu or acadiana.edu.
