Congratulations to the inaugural members of the Tri-M Music Honor Society! While this group has existed at McCutcheon before, it is being brought back thanks to Mr. Skiba and Mr. Gobrogge. Much like other honor societies, Tri-M focuses on developing student members’ character, leadership, and service through music and community outreach. We are excited to restart this group and will see new members on Monday during Activity Period for our first chapter meeting!

Over Labor Day Weekend the Pride of McCutcheon was able to visit the city that inspired their 2026 show, Chicago! Highlights of the trip included stopping by the Indiana Dunes National Park, Lincoln Park Zoo, The Bean, Gino's East Pizzeria, Navy Pier, SkyDeck and Six Flags Great America! Incredibly grateful opportunities like these that are only possible with the teamwork between hardworking students, committed parent chaperones, and our directors! Don't forget to swing by the game Friday night to see another addition to this year's show. Go Mavs!

Our mattress fundraiser has officially kicked off! Swing by McCutcheon High School's Auxiliary Gym on September 19th from 10 am to 5 pm to help support the Bands. Special discounts are given to first responders, active and veteran military members, and teachers!

So excited for this year's Holiday Bazaar with our 190 total vendors! At this time, we are completely sold out of vendor space. We will NEVER ask for more vendors through comments on Facebook or other social media platforms. Please do NOT respond to anyone who may say otherwise, they are scammers!

We want to take a moment to thank both the Boosters who help set up this event every year, and the vendors who are coming over to McCutcheon this year! Your time, expertise, skill, patience, loyalty, and kindness are appreciated by all in our Department! Thank you for making this such a great event for our community. We cannot wait to see you all there and hope you'll be back in future years!

At the end of this week, the Pride of McCutcheon will be taking a trip to Chicago as we continue to work on our 2026 show "Sounds of the Windy City." This trip will take the band to the Indiana Dunes National Park, the Bean, the Lincoln Park Zoo, Gino's East Pizzeria, Navy Pier, SkyDeck (Willis Tower, formerly known as Sears Tower) and Six Flags Great America.
