Our first meeting for the year is coming up in a week and a half! We have a big rolling collaboration to complete for our first project in art club!! Can't wait to see all the art clubbers!

We will have one last art club for the year tomorrow! We will only meet for 45 minutes after school. So instead of picking up at 5, pick up will be at 4:15. We will be getting our at club shirts and artworks from the art club drying rack. Students do not have to stay the entire time but do need to come and get their shirt and rock city tickets!

Just a reminder of this that Art Club members are encouraged to come and help Thursday evening!

LMS Art Club will participate in the Walker County Art Show again this year! Last year, we made stickers with everyone who came through to make a sticker of their school. Who knows what we will come up with this time!!

Rock City reached out and wanted our Art program to participate in a community art work where students paint Rock City birdhouses! These houses need to be completed for pick up on Monday the 27th of April. Each student that paints a birdhouse will receive a free entry ticket to Rock City so they can see their artwork hung throughout Rock City! To get these houses painted we need extra meeting times so this Wednesday is our extra meeting time. Students are encouraged to come during WIN Time on Wednesdays and Fridays if their teacher okays it!!
