Okay art friends….I haven’t done this before, but it seems to be all the rage here on the social channels. I’d like to introduce myself! This is me ⬆️ and my cat .sonnycrocket . I live in and I spend my days working remotely as a Creative Director for a company in MA. When I’m not busy drawing in the studio, you’ll probably find my husband Raj, my daughter Owyn and I planning a craft market with our side biz . We have been producing markets for several years but just recently produced the All Together Now markets in Lafayette!
Here are some fun facts about me (you may or may not know) in random order!
> It was my husband’s idea for me to have a drawing studio in my home garage ❤️
> I was the first woman hired on the XBOX team in 2000. 🦾
> I was the product designer for the launch XBOX controller known as The Duke. (Google me, it’s true) 👾
> I once had a children’s clothing line called Dandy Social Club.👧🏻
> I learned to draw at The Rhode Island School of Design ✍️
> Econ Schiele is one of my favorite artists and I cried when I saw a drawing of his at 😱
> my husband and I met when we were 11 but never dated until we remet at our 20th 👀
> I have a tattoo on my wrist of my husband’s name- Raj in Hindi 👍🏻
> I love to make all kinds of crazy stuff 🧵
> My dream vacation destination would be to travel to India 🇮🇳
> I’d LOVE to one day own a French Bulldog and name him Marcel! 🐶

And yes, my cat is named Detective “Sonny” James Crockett (Sonny for short) from the show 🌴🌞🕶 And he’s the greatest cat on earth 😺 (we had his brother Rocco Tubbs too, but he ran away! 😿)

Personal work alert: 🚨 FINALLY making some progress on the LARGEST piece I’ve worked on in QUITE awhile….getting it there bit by bit. One of many voices inside my head (the one I choose to listen to) says, “just keep going”! 😁

FINALLY got back to doing some !!! YAY! These are of Izzy from There’s no next Friday due to a personal conflict but RUN to the website and to with me on Friday September 3. We will the !!
