IT IS HAPPENING. 🙌 The GROW Summer Program is officially kicking off and we could not be more excited. Six weeks of learning, growing, and community. 💛 💙

Summer break is not a break for everyone. For many under-resourced students, it is the season they fall furthest behind. At BMA, we refuse to let that happen. Our GROW Summer Program keeps Lafayette's children reading, growing, and thriving all summer long because the gap does not take a summer off and neither do we.

None of this happens without you. Every dollar donated, every hour volunteered, and every prayer lifted on behalf of our students is making a lasting difference in the lives of Lafayette's children. Volunteering with BMA is not just about helping a child with homework. It is about being part of a movement that is changing the trajectory of an entire community. The achievement gap is not just a statistic. It is 76% of under-resourced students walking into their first day of school already one to three years behind their peers. BMA exists because every child in Lafayette deserves a fair start and a fighting chance.

Ministry does not always look like a pulpit. Sometimes it looks like a college student sitting across from a struggling reader, choosing to show up week after week because they believe that child is worth it. That is mentorship. That is ministry.

Behind every student milestone is a mentor or volunteer who refused to give up. Today we stop to honor them and lift them up in prayer. Their faithfulness is the heartbeat of BMA, and we are so thankful God brought them to us.
