Welcome -- for the past 7 years, I've helped over a hundred students in all areas of the college application process, anything from essay coaching to standardized tests to college counseling.
My main aim and focus as a tutor is to empower students as they begin this initiation rite, and to help them reduce their own stress and anxiety along the way. I arm them with the tools they need to make informed choices about where to go; I guide them on how express themselves authentically in their writing; and I coach them on how churn out their best academic work without losing sleep (or morale) in the process. The result is that the majority of my students have enrolled in their top choice colleges after getting accepted, and all of them can now articulate powerful things about themselves they had never thought to put to words (or emphasize). If you're interested in learning more about how I work, don't hesitate to reach out. Best ~~~ Henrik Herb - Private Academic Tutor
