WHY IT WORKS (The Awareness Gap)⠀
Most of us live in the Reaction Cycle. A trigger hits, and we respond instantly with stress or anger, never knowing why we feel that way. The Download forces a powerful pause, creating the essential space between the trigger and your response. This space is where you reclaim control and choose intention over reaction.⠀

HOW TO DO IT (The 2-Phase Process):⠀

Phase 1 (3 Min) - Unfiltered Release: Do a total brain dump. Write down every worry, to-do, and random thought. This is the raw data, no judgment allowed!⠀

WHAT'S HINDERING YOUR GROWTH?

Have you truly sat and asked yourself that question? And if you did, were you honest with your answers?

Here's the thing... most times we ALREADY know what's preventing us from growth.

When I recognized what was hindering me, I was able to work on, then successfully overcome it. Thus, producing not only my growth, but my purpose and passion to help others do the same.

A hard truth, right?⠀

Have you been running from something or someone that broke you?⠀

Yes?⠀

Well, you're definitely not the only one.⠀

I've been there. As recently as this week. I tried to ignore and run from it but that didn't make it easier. In fact, it only made it worst. ⠀

In that moment I realized, stop running and start healing. ⠀

Now listen, it's hard. I know. But ☝🏽, it's ALSO worth it.⠀

If you're wondering, Coach Jaye, HOW am I supposed to heal? Where do I even start?⠀

Here's how ⬇️:⠀

1️⃣-Accept it⠀

2️⃣-Feel it.⠀

3️⃣-Go through it.⠀

4️⃣-Grow from it.⠀

💛-Accepting is acknowledging that it happened and no longer is.⠀

💛-Feel it because when you try to escape it, you don't manage what you're feeling. The emotions that you're running from need to be felt so they won't come up later.⠀

💛-Go through it and don't try to skip the process. It's a big part of your healing journey. ⠀

💛-Grow through it. Look at the lessons you've learned and you'll be able to apply them later in life.⠀

Healing begins with you, Sis. As hard as it may be, you HAVE to go through it in order to heal.⠀

So, no more 🏃🏽‍♀️ and hiding, m'kay?⠀

Don't lie y'all 😂 because Lord knows I have a time or two or 10 🤦🏽‍♀️🥴.⠀

But we have to realize that your needs and wants matter. They should be established to anyone that enters your life. ⠀

If you are guilty of suffocating your desires, here are 4 ways to stop this bad habit 👇🏽⠀

➡️establish boundaries early on⠀
➡️ENFORCE your boundaries ⠀
➡️vocalize your needs, wants & desires⠀
➡️learn to walk away when they aren't met⠀

Now, they are so many other tips but these are most important. Let's normalize prioritizing what we require of others AND walking away when these requirements aren't met.⠀

I'm sure by now you've all heard of the growing and wildy popular form of professional wellness help... life coaching. It's a less traditional form of therapy and relies more on teaching individuals how to reach their fullest potential and become the best version of themselves by coaching them through the process.

Just think of it as your personal accountability partner. Who wouldn't like one of these, right? Someone that helps you develop goals and holds you accountable to achieve them, all while increasing your self-awareness. Can we say... yes, please?

As a Life Coach, I've experienced some of the same situations that I strive to help clients overcome: fear, self-doubt, lack of self-awareness, not understanding how to get unstuck, etc. I learned how to not only set achievable goals, but how to work my goals and become the best version of myself. And y'all listen, when I DID figure this out, bay-BEE, it increased my desire to help other women do just that. Not only that, it made me want to continue to reach new levels of self-awareness to ensure that I continued to grow and evolve into the best version of myself.

So, what are the benefits of having a life coach? Well, follow me below to find out a few:

1-ACCOUNTABILITY: arguably one of the biggest benefits of having a life coach. Why? Because your coach has the responsibility of doing just that. Holding you ACCOUNTABLE. Now, sure you can have an accountability partner(s), but what are the chances that you stick to it with them? Things happen and so does life, so who is there to hold you accountable when your selected partner can't? What happens then? Yep, you tend to stop putting in the time and the work to achieve those goals.

I get asked all the time, 'what will I benefit from working with you'?⠀

It's a legit question because although life coaching has evolved a lot, some still don't truly realize what they're gaining in partnering with a coach. ⠀

1️⃣‐ Accountability: this is a BIG one that goes both ways. As a coach, it's my job to hold you accountable but on the same token, I expect you to do the same. Being in sync and expecting the best only enhances your experience and journey. ⠀

2️⃣- Goal Setting: sure you can set goals, but can you effectively map out a way to achieve them 🤔? As a coach, I can help you navigate your goals by developing a customized plan... or map if you will of how to accomplish it.⠀

Here are a few tips to get you started TODAY‼️⠀

1️⃣- IDENTIFY: WHAT do you want to achieve and WHY? What is your passion? What drives you? These are the types of questions to ask in order to identify.

2️⃣- PLAN: write out your goals and make a REALISTIC plan on how to achieve them. What steps will you take? What's your time frame? How are you measuring your goals? Asking ACTION questions will help ensure that you're setting up your goals in a way that they can be achieved. ⠀

3️⃣- EXECUTE: WORK THOSE GOALS‼️‼️⠀
This is the time to work your plan. This is where you begin to GROW.⠀

Not too bad, right?? Growth can be achieved if you set your mind to it AND you have a plan to get you there. Pretty similar to going a road trip... a journey. See what I did there? ⠀

Here's the thing.... if you want to experience growth and become the BEST version of yourself, you have to extinguish and remove what's holding you back. ⠀

This can be 👇🏽⠀

➡️ behaviors⠀
➡️habits⠀
➡️people⠀
➡️things⠀

But ☝🏽 the good news is it CAN be done and I'm here to tell you how:⠀

1️⃣- IDENTIFY: WHAT exactly is hindering you. What's preventing you from growth⠀

2️⃣- UNDERSTAND: once you know what's holding you back, you have to understand WHY it's holding you back (this is to avoid experiencing it again) ⠀

3️⃣- DETERMINE: what you need to do to remove it from your life⠀

Has it registered yet? Yes? No?⠀

Let me give you an example: ⠀

You're afraid to apply for a promotion at work, EVEN though you feel in your gut that you would excel in this position. ⠀

So, ⠀

WHAT'S holding you back ➡️ your insecurities ⠀

WHY does your insecurities hold you back ➡️ b/c you don't trust yourself or your abilities ⠀

HOW do you extinguish your insecurities ➡️ you learn to trust yourself more (in this example you would display the characteristics that would get you selected for the promotion); you step outside of your norm and do it even if you're terrified or your insecurities tell you not to⠀
