When we think about preparing students for the future, academic success is only part of the equation. Through our Portrait of a Graduate framework, we are dedicated to helping students develop the mindsets and character traits they need to thrive in school, career, and life.

This month, we are shining the spotlight on Self-Awareness and helping students "Discover your Superpower!"

Being self-aware means understanding your own strengths, recognizing areas for growth, and knowing how your emotions and actions impact the world around you. When students master self-awareness, they learn how to:

💡 Embrace mistakes as valuable opportunities to learn
🤝 Navigate challenges with resilience and emotional intelligence
🌟 Own their unique talents and share them with confidence

How to support this month's Power Word at home:
Ask your student simple reflecting questions like, "What is something that felt challenging today, and how did you handle it?" or "What is a strength you used this week?" Small conversations build powerful self-reflection habits!
