🌟 What a busy and exciting week at Myrtle Place! 🦁💚

🔎 Mme Caroline’s class put their thinking skills to the test by guessing what they were feeling inside a mystery box—making a claim, using evidence, and explaining their reasoning! Principal Venable and Mr. Ryan even joined in on the fun!

👨‍👧‍👦 Our Dads on Duty were back to greet our Cubs with smiles and high fives!

🏖️ Students celebrated positive behavior throughout September with a PBIS Vacation Day Dress-Up Day!

🩺 And our 1st graders welcomed two special guests from the medical profession who helped bring their ELA Knowledge Unit about the human body to life!

So much learning, connecting, celebrating, and fun packed into one week! 💚🦁🌎

🌟 SURPRISE! 🌟

Our Cubs had no idea a sweet surprise was coming their way today! 🍬 Admin popped into classrooms and surprised students who maintained an A or O in conduct every day this week with a Starburst! ⭐

This was the first of many random positive behavior SURPRISES throughout the year. Our Cubs never know when we might pop in or what the reward might be, so keep up the positive behavior! Another random SURPRISE may happen next week👀🎉 🦁💚

🥔🌱 The Great GIANT Potato Hunt! 🌱🥔

Our MPE Club du Jardin helpers went digging for buried treasure, and WOW…did they find it! 🤩 These potatoes were HUGE! 🥔😲

Who knew a potato hunt could be this much fun?! 😂💚 We love watching our MPE Cubs learn, explore, and get their hands dirty in the garden! 🦁🌱

🏓🏀 Free Choice Friday got a little competitive in PE today! 😄

Mrs. Venable and Mr. Sylvain showed their true skills for some ping pong and basketball fun! Our students played against each of them with such enthusiasm, energy, and sportsmanship which made the friendly competition even better!

We’re not sure who had more fun—the students or the adults! 😂 What a great way to end the week! 💚🤍
