Have you ever wondered what it would look like to show up for a child who is grieving?

Healing House volunteers have the opportunity to walk alongside children and families during some of life’s hardest moments, creating a safe space where children can connect, be heard, and know they are not alone. 💙

Our next Healing House Volunteer Training will be held January 8–9, 2027, and we’re looking for caring, compassionate people who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who are grieving.

The holidays remind us how powerful it is to show up for one another, and if you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to give the gift of your time in the new year, this is it.

Our next volunteer training is coming up on January 16 and 17. A two-day training designed to prepare you to support children who are grieving with confidence and care. Volunteers must be 20 or older and able to commit for at least one year.

Become a and make a difference in the life of a grieving child. In addition to attending both days of training, grief support group volunteers must be at least 21 years old, pass a criminal background check, and be able to commit to 2 nights or afternoons per month.
