Before we ask kids to do more, let’s make sure they have what they need to thrive.

A new school year brings academics, sports, activities and full calendars—but kids also need space to slow down, reset, create, connect and build the inner tools that help them navigate it all.

That’s where Soularium comes in.

Because we’re not just preparing kids for a fuller calendar. We’re helping them build the tools for a fuller life.

In making their own rollerball Soularium kids have the opportunity to connect with their own unique needs and call on the plants that they feel will bring their own bodies the greatest benefit. I love empowering children to learn for themselves what physical benefits come from working with different plants as we all sit in the sweet smells and miraculous workings of these gifts from Mother Nature. Applying our rollerballs to our wrists and doing a short meditation together at the end of class is a full body experience of how restored and calm we can feel with a little love from nature. As children rouse, stretch, rub their eyes, and comment that they almost fell asleep, I am comforted knowing they not only had fun, but they are also leaving with a powerful tool to bloom from within.

Some of the most meaningful work that happens at Soularium Academy is in 1:1 or small group sessions where I can tailor the learning and experiences to match the children's needs and growth points. As adults we can sit for hours absorbing info from inspirational teachers, listening to TED talks, pouring over an audiobook, etc. But kids need the full body experience where they are using all their senses, touching, creating, and moving. My intention is to reach a diverse range of learners and provide experiences where each child has the opportunity to fully embody the teachings. Creating curriculum that comes to life for kids has been my passion project. Making chakras, for example, come alive and be something that kids can touch, feel and understand is no small feat, but I'm devoted to the work and continue to strive for this type of intentional work. Soularium kids bring practical, real-life tools home from our session so they can start integrating mindfulness work right away at home.

We have just one week of camp this summer and I'm filled to the brim w/ joy that we are almost completely full! We have a couple of days open for drop ins and we are working off a waiting list for those, so contact me directly if you want to get on the list. Soularium Summer Camp is one of my favorite times of the whole year and I can't wait to play and enjoy the sun-filled days w our campers🩵.

Kids in my classes often express trouble getting to sleep at night as they frantically process all the worries and fears they forgot to address during the day. One answer we have at Soularium is to make your very own personalized Worry Doll. Kids fall into the magic of releasing their fears and limiting beliefs to their Worry Dolls effortlessly, and it's one more tool in their toolbox for self-care and up-leveling their lives. Be sure to read "The Legend of the Worry Doll" by Terilee Greeff with your child beforehand. Learning how this ancient Guatemalan tradition can inspire our lives today anchors the learning and honors the wisdom of the Guatemalan culture. Please let me know how your child likes their Worry Doll! I love to hear from you!!

Soularium is a "Greenhouse for the Soul" where kids get to grow the most magical garden of all... Their whole selves❇️✨🤸‍♀️. I started Soularium Academy 5 years ago as a passion project, and it remains one of the things in my life that brings me the greatest joy! Actualizing our potential, believing in ourselves, activating our dreams and desires, using tools to decompress, slow down and release what we don't need, tending to our inner gardens so we can bloom and flourish, and living in joy and abundance is a human right we were born with. We teach kids through play how to nourish their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual terrain so they can meet themselves with compassion and love through all the highs and lows.
