This week, in partnership with HIV Pathways, the panel #5153 will be on display at the Pride Center. The display is free to the public and will be open Monday-Friday this week from 5p-8p. The panel on display contains squares with ties to Greater Lafayette and Purdue University.

This display is part of a cooperative effort between HIV Pathways and Pride Lafayette's LGBTQ+ Health Equity Project to continue raising awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention and testing resources available in the region.

Please come join us as we honor the more than 700,000 U.S. lives lost to AIDS.

On this day, we collectively mourn the lives lost due to transphobia, violence, and bigotry. We remember those who were taken far too soon, their dreams unfulfilled, and their potential untapped. We honor their resilience and their unwavering courage to be their most authentic selves in a world that continues to challenge them each day.

It is crucial that we utilize this day not only to grieve but also to promote education, awareness, and empathy. By engaging in open dialogue and spreading knowledge about transgender experiences, we can dismantle barriers, foster acceptance, and create safer communities for all gender identities.
