Sometimes you just need a little brain break!💃 Mrs. Annabelle Pelletier’s 5th Graders understood the assignment, dancing to Waka Waka by Shakira on Just Dance.😁

At St. Genevieve, we are blessed with some extraordinary families who give so much of themselves, who show up for one another, who celebrate together, pray together, and make this community feel like home.❤💙

On National Family Day, we celebrate YOU — the heart of St. Genevieve. Each family brings something uniquely beautiful to our school, making St. Gen so much more than a place to learn. Thank you for making it a place to belong.🫶

What an exciting week for SGS Football as we took home big wins against Cathedral Carmel School!🏈

5th/6th Grade: Talk about a defensive battle! This game sent us into double overtime, but our Cardinals fought their way to a 6–0 victory!

7th/8th Grade: Our older Cardinals kept the winning streak alive, shutting out their opponents with an impressive 7–0 WIN!

Big congrats to our players and coaches for their hard work, determination, and TWO hard-fought wins! And let’s hear it for our amazing Cheerleaders and the Cardinal Crew dance team for bringing the energy and spirit! You help make our game days even better!

LET’S GEAUX, CARDINALS! ♥️💙

❤️ RED OUT, CARDINAL STYLE! ❤️

Our Elementary Cardinals understood the assignment! 🔴🎉

Both campuses showed up and showed OUT for Red Out Day, but today we’re giving our littlest Cardinals their moment in the spotlight!🚨

BIG school spirit from our LITTLE Cardinals! 🐦❤️💙

🌟 Beta Club Induction 🌟

Beta Club membership is an honor earned by students who demonstrate excellence in achievement, character, leadership and service. Inductees must meet high academic standards while also exhibiting the strong character, integrity and commitment to others expected of a Beta member.

Induction is not only a recognition of what these students have accomplished, but a commitment to continue striving for excellence, leading by example and serving others.

We are so proud of our newest St. Gen Beta Club members and this well-deserved achievement! ❤️💙

Moments like these are so special - and here is just a glimpse of our students who proudly led us in prayer and participated in a Pre-K3 and 3rd Grade Grandparents Day Mass.🥰

After Mass, grandparents were also able to spend time in our classrooms, getting a little window into what a day at St. Gen looks like for their grandchildren.📚

So much love, pride and joy was shared during this special occasion.♥️

We are so grateful to each of you who joined us and made this morning so special. The love, faith and wisdom of our grandparents are such a gift to our children and to our Cardinal family. 💙❤️

Peace looks good on our Cardinals!☮️

Sharing a few snaps from around campus today as we celebrated the International Day of Peace! From peace signs and symbols to shades of light blue and white, our Cardinals joined in spreading a little extra peace throughout campus. ✌️🤍🩵

A sweet reminder that peace begins with each of us—in the kindness we show, the words we speak, and the love of Christ we share with others.🕊️

🎉 The votes are in! 🎉
Congratulations to our newly elected 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬! We are so proud of each of you and look forward to seeing you lead, serve, and represent your fellow Cardinals this school year. ❤️💙

We also want to recognize every student who stepped forward as a candidate. From creating posters and preparing speeches to standing in front of your peers and asking for their vote — that takes courage, confidence, and leadership. 👏

An election may have winners, but every student who took the chance to run has something to be proud of. Keep putting yourself out there, keep growing, and most importantly, keep trying!

Congratulations to ALL of our candidates for a job well done!🏅
