Sunnyside Singers were the guest performers at the Jeff Choirs Spring Show tonight! They performed four songs by themselves, and one combined song with Varsity Singers and First Edition. Way to go Bronchos!

Congrats to both Expressions and Varsity Singers on Gold ratings at ISSMA State Qualifications this weekend! This was Expressions’ first time attending concert choir state quals in many years. ❤️🖤

Varsity Singers is honored to once again advance to the “Top 16” Mixed Concert Choir State Finals. They will perform at Pike HS in Indianapolis next Saturday, May 9, at 4:35pm.

State Finalists (in randomly drawn performance order) are Valparaiso, Fishers, Plainfield, Franklin Community, Avon, Lafayette Jefferson, Portage, Batesville, Bloomington South, Crown Point, Franklin Central, Carmel, North Central, Goshen, Brownsburg, and Floyd Central.

Congrats to all and let’s go Bronchos!!!

JANUARY 31st: ISSMA SOLO AND ENSEMBLE
This Saturday, over 25 choir members will be performing their vocal solos at Harrison High School! Way to represent, Sunnyside Choirs!

SATURDAY FEB. 14TH: CIRCLE THE STATE WITH SONG
Afterschool Choir, Sunnyside Singers, will be performing at the Circle the State with Song Festival, at Crawfordsville High School!

TUESDAY FEB. 24th: CHORAL FESTIVAL FIELD TRIP AT JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOL
All 6th grade choir members and 5th graders in Sunnyside Singers, will take a field trip to Jefferson High School to spend the morning singing, playing games, and eating food with the 5-12th grade LSC choral department!

MUSIC MINUTES
Students should be staying on top of their daily music minute assignments! Music Minutes 66-75 should be completed so far for Q3.

THURSDAY APRIL 16th: SPRING SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCE
All 6th grade choir members, and Sunnyside Singers, will perform at the final Sunnyside Choir concert of the school year called “The Spring Spectacular.” If you have not already, save this date on your calendar. Students will receive a grade for their participation in the choir concert. The theme for the Spring Spectacular Variety Show this year is “Rock and Roll." The Spring Spectacular is a 6th grade choir show combined with a school wide talent show! Students interested in auditioning for a talent act, should pick up an audition packet in the main office, or in the choir room!

Dear (Tecumseh/Sunnyside) Male Choir Students and Emerging Tenor/Bass Singers,

You are invited and highly encouraged to join the young men of the Jefferson High School Choirs on Tuesday, January 13 from 6:30-8:00pm for DROP THE BASS!

This is an informal evening of food, games, and singing for boys and emerging tenor/bass singers from 4th - 12th grades. Last year’s event was a HUGE success with well over 100 students in attendance from LSC schools as well as West Side, TSC, and local private, parochial, and charter schools. We hope to have even more this year! Please make plans to attend with your classmates and invite your friends and neighbors who are not students in Lafayette School Corporation.

Because we are serving pizza and giving every participant a free t-shirt, we need this simple online form completed by Tuesday, January 6.

We can’t wait to see you in January for this fun evening of camaraderie and music!!!
