Once upon a time became a night to remember at our Father–Daughter Dance. From twirls on the dance floor to shared laughter over dinner, our dads and special guests made the evening truly magical for their daughters. The smiles, the crafts created side by side, and the photo mementos captured memories that will last far beyond one enchanted evening.
Thank you to every father and special guest who showed up, danced big, laughed loudly, and made your daughters feel like royalty. 💙
And thank you to our volunteers who helped transform the space into a fairytale setting — we couldn’t have done it without you!
What a gift it is to build traditions and make memories together. ✨

Today, our Preparatory students in Mrs. McKinsey's room celebrated Shrove Tuesday with their own Pancake Races. This tradition began in 1445 in Olney, England. Lore tells of a woman, cooking pancakes when the "shriving bell" rang for church, who raced to the service still holding her frying pan, a tradition reenacted annually with participants tossing pancakes while running. What a fun new tradition!

Let's show some Valentines Day love for our 11 students who represented St. James in the IMEA Circle the State with Song festival in Crawfordsville today with over 350 other elementary and middle school students! Over the last month, they practiced diligently on their own time and rehearsed weekly after school to commit five pieces to memory, learning not only the notes, but the discipline and beauty of choral artistry.
