Today, we remember.

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the courage of the first responders and ordinary people who stepped forward to serve others in extraordinary circumstances. And we remain grateful for the countless men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities and country.

At Faith Christian School, we want our students to understand that courage, sacrifice, and service are more than lessons from history; they are examples that challenge us to consider how we love and serve others.

As we remember September 11, may we be grateful, may we pray for those whose lives were forever changed, and may we continue to point our students toward the hope we have in Christ.

We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

What a day! 🙌

We’re entering such a fun and important stretch in our Junior Business Academy as our students begin exploring what life after high school might look like.

Today, our adventure started bright and early—we left FCS at 4:45 a.m. and headed to Cedarville University! ☀️

Our juniors spent the day talking with professors in the Business Department, touring campus, attending Campus Chapel, and learning more about the college process. They asked questions, explored possibilities, and got a glimpse of what their next chapter could look like.

And this is just the beginning! Over the next several weeks, our students will visit other college Business Schools, attend the Lafayette Business Expo, and participate in Job Shadow Experiences.

These opportunities are about so much more than career exploration. They’re part of our commitment to cultivating a distinctive Christ-centered student experience where every student is known, loved, and guided as they grow academically, spiritually, relationally, and personally.

What a privilege it is to walk alongside these students as they discover their gifts, explore their future, and grow into the learners, leaders, and Christ followers God has created them to be.

A long day, an early morning, lots of learning—and so many exciting possibilities ahead! ❤️

During Advisory this week, students are working together to create posters to represent their group in a little friendly competition; the creativity is flying!

These are the simple moments that help build community at FCS: students creating, laughing, competing, and making memories with other high schoolers.

And if this eagle is any indication, the competition might be pretty good this year.

Building Trusted Partnerships. Shaping Future Leaders.

One of our key initiatives this year at Faith Christian School is building trusted partnerships that invest in the spiritual, academic, and personal development of our students.

Our Business Academy continues to be strengthened and blessed through our partnership with Centier Bank, and last week, our Senior Business Academy students had the opportunity to visit Centier’s headquarters for an experience that went far beyond the classroom.

Students engaged with Centier’s Wealth Management team, learning valuable lessons about business, finance, and their future careers. They also had the opportunity to connect with Mr. Bob Leuder and learn more about Centier’s Servant Heart culture—a powerful reminder that true leadership is not simply about what we accomplish, but how we serve others along the way.

These are the moments that make education come alive. When our students can learn from experienced professionals, ask questions, build relationships, and see faith and servant leadership modeled in the workplace, they gain perspective that can help shape the decisions they make for years to come.

We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Dan Peter and the entire Centier team for investing in our students and providing an outstanding experience filled with practical wisdom, meaningful conversations, and life lessons.

Trusted partnerships create lasting impact—and we are thankful to see that impact taking shape in the lives of our students.

It was exciting to watch our 5th graders encourage one another and push themselves to reach personal goals—including scaling the belayed climbing tower! They built communication, trust, confidence, leadership, and problem-solving skills while embracing challenges and building “Foundations for Success” during their unforgettable Camp Tecumseh retreat!

Everyone stepped outside their comfort zone and tried something new—from building fires and shelters to climbing, night hiking, solving team challenges, and following maps to hidden clues!

The fun continued around the campfire as cabin groups worked together to create and perform Bible story skits that brought their Foundations skills to life. With plenty of teamwork, practice, and perseverance, the results were impressive!

We’re proud of these students for persevering through the heat and finishing strong! We look forward to seeing how these experiences and memories continue building them into confident and humble leaders, learners, and Christ-followers.

HEROES NIGHT | SEPTEMBER 11

Join us Friday, September 11 at 7:00 PM as Faith Christian takes on Frontier for a special Heroes Night.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we will take time before the game to remember, pray, and honor the heroes who serve and protect our communities and country.

❤️🤍💙 First responders, military members, veterans, and their spouses will receive FREE admission with identification.

Our Cheer Block theme is USA, so Eagle fans—wear your red, white & blue and help us fill the stands!

Before kickoff, we will recognize the heroes in attendance and observe a moment of silence and prayer as we remember those whose lives were lost and forever changed on September 11.

The countdown is on for our inaugural 24 Strong Student Event! 🎉💪

This morning, I ventured to Meijer at 6:00 a.m. to gather supplies for one of our upcoming competitions, the wonderfully named “Grass’ Gross Games.” 😂

My cart was filled with the finest teenage-event essentials: shaving cream, flour, root beer, Goldfish crackers, baby food, pudding, cheddar cheese dip, styrofoam bowls, and a variety of other delicious foods and drinks.

When I got to the checkout, I told the cashier, “Can you guess that I work with teenagers?”

He looked at my cart and said, “Yeah… the styrofoam bowls, cheddar cheese dip, and pudding at 6:00 a.m. kind of gave you away.” 😂

The spirit and energy are building! The six teams of students are getting ready for an unforgettable 24 hours—24 students for 24 hours, taking on The Challenge of Character!

But while there will certainly be plenty of laughter, competition, challenges, and maybe a little bit of shaving cream involved, our heart behind 24 Strong is about so much more.

We want to create meaningful opportunities for our students to be known, loved, and guided—to build relationships, discover who they are, grow in character, encourage one another, and experience the joy of being part of something bigger than themselves.

And we couldn’t do this without an incredible community surrounding our students. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to our alumni, sponsors, and parents who have donated supplies, volunteered their time and manpower, encouraged our students, and generously provided the Grand Prize Award. Your investment is helping make this experience possible and, more importantly, helping us invest in the lives of students.

Six teams.
24 students.
24 hours.
One incredible challenge of character.

24 Strong — It’s Going to Be EPIC! 💪🎉

Elementary chapels are off to a wonderful start this year as students learn new Scripture-based songs of worship and explore the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. We’ve also been reminded that every believer can faithfully use his or her gifts for God’s mission.

After last Tuesday’s chapel, Mr. Lambeth sat with kindergarteners at lunch and quickly realized they had been listening closely! One young boy asked, “Why did Adam and Eve disobey God and eat from the tree? Did Satan trick them?”

What a precious opportunity to help these young students grow in their understanding of the deceitfulness of sin—and our great need for a Savior. Moments like these remind us why sharing the truth of God’s Word with children is such a privilege!
