As we prepare for an exciting new school year, we encourage every LPSS family to log in to Parent Portal to review the 2026-2027 Student Handbook and complete the required digital acknowledgements. The handbook includes important information on district policies, student expectations, safety procedures, and several updates for the new school year.

Beginning August 7, LPSS will launch SchoolStatus Connect, our new district-approved communications platform. Families will be able to receive important school updates in one place while also benefiting from easier two-way communication with their child's school.

Before August 7, we encourage families to verify that the phone number and email address listed in Parent Portal (JCampus) are up to date. Then, watch for a text message invitation to get started.
