We are beginning to see how machine learning for drug discovery can accelerate research. InSilico Medicine is currently conducting clinical trials for treating fibrosis with TNIK inhibitors that were identified and optimized using generative AI, and it only took 18 months!

They discussed everything from Ichor’s unique business model as both a longevity biotech company and full-service, end-to-end CRO, the benefits of being located in Upstate New York, his long-term vision for Ichor, and what motivated him to leave medical school and focus on drug development.

Kelsey explained: “If I develop a drug for a disease millions of people have, and I can get that successfully to market in a safe and efficacious way, then I can have a very non-linear impact on patients’ lives and the human condition.”
