Le théâtre des pauvres bêtes
is proud to welcome Daisy Hoffpauir to our
équipe de production pour
Alice au pays des mémères!
Daisy is a talented musician majoring in traditional Cajun music at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She was the first place winner in the adult fiddle contest at the International Rice Festival in Crowley. Daisy has been a member of the Acadiana Symphony Youth Orchestra and has been teaching at the Louisiana Folk Roots Cajun Music Camp for four years. She also is a former French Immersion student in Lafayette Parish.
Daisy will be providing musical accompaniment and arrangements for our inaugural production, “Alice au pays des mémères,” coming in April to Cité des Arts, an official event of Festival International de Louisiane!
Auditions for this Louisiana French play based upon “Alice in Wonderland” and inspired by French Louisiana culture will be Saturday, December 6!
