🎥 Breaking News from the Ossun Elementary Broadcasting Club! 🍩

Our very first meeting this morning was an absolute hit! The energy was high, the ideas were flowing, and yes... donut holes were enjoyed by all! 😋

Here’s the scoop on what our amazing student broadcasters accomplished today during the Broadcasting Club meeting:

⭐ September Wins & Work-Ons: We looked back on the month, and our biggest WIN was coming together as a brand-new team and creating a positive, welcoming environment every morning. Way to go, crew!

Students also did the 🎤 "60-Second Reporter!" Students paired up for a fast-paced interview challenge! They interviewed each other and presented a quick "Breaking News" segment to the club. It was the perfect, no-pressure introduction to basic storytelling, public speaking, and building that on-camera presence without a script. We definitely have some natural anchors in the making!

We are so proud of this team and can't wait to see them shine behind the mic and in front of the camera this year. Stay tuned for more updates from the coolest crew in school! 🎬✨

🧑‍🍳🔬 Mrs. Primeaux’s class wrapped up their first science module by putting on their chef hats and becoming science chefs! 👩‍🍳✨

Using what they learned about the properties of matter, our little scientists put their skills to the test as they investigated and identified unlabeled substances. They mixed, observed, compared, and made their best scientific guesses!

Science + teamwork + a little chef magic = the perfect way to wrap up our first module! 🧪🧑‍🍳💡
